Natural Cleanse
For the Body

A good Natural Cleanse can rid the body
of all 5 of the main causes of disease.

“Fasting is an effective and safe method of detoxifying the body… A technique that wise men have used for centuries to heal the sick. Fast regularly and help the body heal itself and stay well. Give all of your organs a rest. Fasting can help reverse the aging process, and if we use it correctly we will live longer, happier lives.”

James Balch M.D.
Author of Prescription for Natural Healing

Over the years, we all accumulate toxic substances in our bodies. There is really no way around this. If you are alive, breathing, eating, and drinking, you are accumulating toxins in your body.

For the most part, we don't notice this toxic buildup until it gets to the point that the toxins effect our immune system and we start to get sick.

Some examples of these toxins are: Yeast, Viruses, Bacteria, Medicine, Parasites, Chemicals, Stress, and Drugs.

We have found, through Bio-Kinetic Testing, that many of the symptoms of common diseases that are baffling doctors are caused by simple viruses, or accumulated toxins.

The quickest way to find out if a "chronic disease" is actually caused by a virus or accumulated toxins is to do a full body natural cleanse. Here are some examples of the natural cleanse that you can try.

Disclaimer: Please be responsible if you are planning on trying one of these cleanses. See a physician first, and stop cleansing immediately if severe symptoms occur.

Natural Cleanse 1:
Slow and Steady Wins the Race

Cleansing Method 1 is broken up into three phases.

The first phase is the “Elimination phase”. It involves eliminating “bad” foods from your diet a little bit at a timeover a long period. Usually about 15 days. Start with eliminating chemicals (drugs, alcohol, additives etc). Then gradually eliminate foods until you finally eliminate fruits and vegetables and finally fresh juice.

The second phase is the “Fasting phase”. This involves taking 1 to 3 days off from eating. This gives your body a chance to rid itself of any remaining toxins. Important: Make sure that you are drinking plenty of good quality water throughout thecleanse, but especially during the “Fasting phase”.

The third phase is the “Re-introduction and Testing phase”. This phase involves re-introducing simple foods into the diet, one at a time and “testing” yourself to see how your body reacts to each food. The idea is to only re-introduce wholesome “living foods” gradually, and to test to see which foods work best for you and your body. This phase again takes about 15 days. Just reverse the order in which you eliminated your food, starting with fresh juice. Do not re-introduce the processed junk!

For a more detailed explanation and day by day instructions for this type of cleanse, read the book Staying Healthy with the Seasons by Elson M. Haas, M.D.

Natural Cleanse 2:
The Relatively Quick and Painless

Our preferred method for The Relatively Quick and Painless cleanse is Stanley Burroughs’ “Master Cleanse”.

The Master Cleanse is very simple and we have found it to be very effective as well. Essentially the cleanse involves making a lemonade and syrup concoction using fresh lemon juice, 100% organic maple syrup, and cayenne pepper mixed in fresh, good quality water.

Mix the juice from ½ a lemon, a Tablespoon or so of maple syrup, and a few dashes of cayenne per glass.

Eliminate all foods, and drink only the Master Cleanse. (We also recommend supplementing with plain good quality water throughout the cleanse. We have found that the Master Cleanse tends to dehydrate the body.)

That’s it. Just drink your cleanse and don’t eat.

Like we said, this cleanse is relatively quick and painless. It is said to be most effective if you do it for more than 10 days. Personally we don’t recommend that. We recommend between 3 and 10 days.

However, you may not get the full cleansing effect if you stop short of 10 days. Make sure that when you do re-introduce food, that you do it in much the same way as the “Re-introduction and Testing phase” of the Slow and Steady Method.

If you need more detailed instructions, there is a website devoted entirely to the Master Cleanse http://themastercleanse.org/. They are bound to haveany information you need.

Natural Cleanse 3:
The Herbal Cleanse

Important Note: Don't try an herbal cleanse unless you are trained in Bio-Kinetic Testing, or you are under the supervision of a Master Herbalist.

The interesting thing about the herbal cleanse is that it can range in intensity all the way from “Gradual and Gentle”, to “Raining Fiery Destruction Down Upon Your Internal Enemies!”

Over the years we have experienced the full spectrum of herbal cleanses. (Josh remembers fondly a cleanse where he spent an entire night in which the contents of his stomach and bowels were coming out of alternating ends…)

The wonderful thing about being trained in Bio-Kinetic Testing and doing an herbal cleanse is that you can pinpoint exactly what systems need to be cleansed, what you are cleansing, and exactly how much of each herb you need to take in order to accomplish your cleansing goals.

We won't go into detail about this cleansing method, because it can be dangerous if you don't know what you are doing. If you want to learn to cleanse your body with an herbal cleanse, learn Bio-Kinetic Testing first.

Natural Cleanse 4:
The Juice Cleanse

This cleanse consists of simply eliminating all food except for fresh fruit and vegetable juice.

A great book to get you started is Juice Fasting and Detoxification by Steve Meyerowitz. But there are literally hundreds of books out there for you to explore.

We recommend that you find a great source for fresh organic produce and juice it yourself.

One final note about cleanses: Cleanses can be a fairly uncomfortable process; especially if you have a lot of built up toxins in your body.

Expect to have symptoms ranging from headaches, body aches, andintestinal distress; to crankiness and unpleasant bodyodors.

In other words, you may not want to cleanse while you are at work.
