Pancakes


  • 1 c buttermilk or soured milk*
  • 1 egg
  • 1 T honey
  • 1 c whole wheat flour
  • ¾ t baking soda
  • ½ t salt
  • 1 T olive oil

Mix buttermilk, egg, sugar, and oil together. Combine flour, soda, salt, and add to buttermilk mixture.

For waffles add additional 1 T oil.

*1 T fresh lemon juice or vinegar to 1 c milk and let it sit for about 15 minutes.

Makes 4 servings.
