What is the first step in having a Natural Healthy Family?

The first step to a Natural Healthy Family is the simplest, and in many ways the hardest of all.

The first step is to take responsibility for your health and the health of your family.

Not many people have the courage to admit that their current state of health, and that of their family, is a result of the choices that they have made. Most of us would prefer to blame our lack of perfect health on circumstances, bad genes, our environment, our parents, the fast food industry, “big pharma”, or the government.

The fact is that most of us would rather complain about our health than do anything about it. Some of those complaints might even be valid. But that’s not the point.

Here’s the point:

You will never have the power to change until you can authentically acknowledge that you are the one who got you where you are today.

As long as you are blaming someone or something else for your current state of health, you will have no power to change.

So, the questions you have to ask yourself are, where are you, and how did you get here?

The answer to those two questions will give you the power to change the direction you are headed in.

Knowing where you are is the first step in knowing where you want to go.

Knowing how you got here will help you to get clear about the choices that you have made in the past (and the habits that you have formed through the repetition of those choices), and the new choices that you will have to make in order to get where you want to be.

But it all begins with the willingness to take total responsibility for yourself and your life.

In our upcoming E-book, 7 Simple Steps to a Natural Healthy Family, we will walk you step by step through the process of not only taking responsibility for your life, but changing your direction so that you end up where you want to.

For now, just stop and ask yourself the question, "Am I willing to be responsible for my own health, and the health of my family?"



This week's recipe: Caesar Salad

I have been on the lookout for the last three years for the perfect Caesar Salad dressing, and I have finally found it!

Caesar Salad

  • 1 Head of Romaine Lettuce


  • 1 lbs. Fully Cooked Shrimp or Chicken


  • 4 Heaping Tbs. of Mayonnaise (Homemade Mayo Recipe coming soon.)


  • 1 Clove Crushed Garlic


  • Zest and Juice of 1/2 Lemon


  • 2 Tbs. Anchovy Paste


  • 1/2 C. Parmesan Cheese


  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce


  • 1 tsp. Black Pepper


  • 3 Tbs. Olive Oil

Cut lettuce into a large bowl. Top with shrimp or chicken.

Place the remaining ingredients except for the olive oil in a blender and turn it on to mix.

Stream the olive oil into the dressing mix through the center of the lid. When the dressing is combined pour it onto the salad, mix and serve.

Makes 4 servings.

We love this recipe. And it's almost as good the next day!
